UK Women's Place - A central point on campus for coordinating victim services, to train faculty in how to offer support, and to give women a safe place for information and resources about violence. In addition to expanding intervention efforts, UK Women’s Place will focus much of its time in the development and implementation of prevention programming throughout campus.
VINE (Victims Identification
& Notification Everyday)
VINE is an automated, Kentucky
victims notification system, which provides release or escape information
about inmates housed in local jails and adult correctional facilities as well
as certain juvenile offenders through computer generated telephone calls.
In addition, law enforcement agencies and the general
public have access through a 24 hour telephone service.
