The Division of Women's Physical and Mental Health has a mission to improve the health and well being of Kentucky's women. Created by the 1998 General Assembly, the office is statutorily mandated to:

Recommend data elements that should be collected and reported;

Administer a Women's Health Resource Center to focus on targeted preventive and comprehensive health education
