Description of Patient Population
- Adults, 18 years old and older, who are experiencing a wide range of affective, anxiety, personality or thought disorders and/ or addictive diseases. Short-term crisis stabilization is a primary goal of treatment. Often our patients have co-existing medical and/or surgical needs.

Special Features
- A multidisciplinary team works with the patient in establishing discharge planning.
- Group, individual therapy, and psychotropic medication management are supplied within a supervised, structured, therapeutic setting.
- Electroconvulsive therapy is available for severe affective disorders.
- A Mental Health Associate provides group therapy.
- A full-time recreational therapist.
Staffing Patterns
- Staffing, based on acuity.
- 2 RNs and 1 Nursing Care Technician.
- And one 12 hour overlapping RN shift.
