The University of Kentucky Nursing Research Council, in collaboration with the College of Nursing will present their 18th Annual Nursing Research and Scholarship Day, October 10th, 2008. The event will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton, Lexington, Ky.

The keynote speaker will be Laurie Zone-Smith, PhD, RN, nurse research at the Medical University of South Carolina, College of Nursing, Charleston, SC. Her research interest is related to inpatient reimbursement for nursing care, creating a nursing cost center, and nursing intensity adjustment for each routine and intensive care day.
