"Conducting Clinical Trials A-Z"
Purpose
The Conducting
Clinical Trials A-Z manual is intended to provide practical information
and resources for investigators and study sites involved in clinical
trials at the University of
Kentucky. Part I provides
background, supporting policy, resources and references for further
reading. Part II of the manual outlines the life of a clinical
trial with specific “how-to” information, links, resources, checklists,
and tools. Throughout the manual, there are links to relevant Web sites,
forms, resources and individuals who can help you with the clinical
trial process.
We hope that the
Handbook will be especially useful for new or “intermittent” clinical
trial researchers. In addition to this reference, the UK Clinical
Research Organization is available as a resource or to provide study
initiation, regulatory, fiscal, and/or operations services.
As clinical
research is ever evolving, we expect that this manual will be a work in
continuous progress and welcome your input.
