UKCRO marketing materials and media:
UK Clinical Research Organization offers assistance in creating and
marketing the following types of items and media:

Newspaper Ads
Radio Advertising
Media Appearances
Flyers:
Flyers are created for UK sponsored research
studies by the marketing department at UKCRO.
1. Please Submit the
study information at the following link

2. After we receive your submission, you will be contacted by email with
a first draft. After the first draft of the flyer meets your approval,
it will be forwarded to the UK Department of Public Relations for any
corrections. After Public Relations has approved the flyer, you will be
sent the final version for submission to the IRB.
3.
After you let us know that the IRB has
approved your flyer, we will print out the flyer and it will be placed
on at least one of the three wall mount locations at the hospital and at
the clinic. We will also need
the IRB approval letter (for the study) faxed to the attention of Ann Christianson at
859-257-1563. We will refill the flyers on the Wall Mounts as needed.
We also maintain a tracking system for each flyer.
Note: Please notify Roxane Poskin at
Roxane.Poskin@uky.edu or 859-257-7856 when your study is
completed so we can remove the flyer from the wall mounts.

postings: Once a flyer has been created
for your study, a pdf version can be posted on the following
websites:

The Current Studies Page lists all clinical research studies that are
currently enrolling.

UK's Center Watch page
Center Watch offers
a directory providing detailed profiles of over 900 clinical
research centers and their clinical trials.
UK researchers can
list their IRB-approved trials on UK's Center Watch page. We
can send your study to Center Watch or you can contact them directly
by answering yes on the
Human Subjects Recruitment Request Form or by
contacting Travis Emery at travis.emery@thomson.com /
fax: 617-856-5901. IRB approved PDF
flyers can be e-mailed directly to Travis as well, along with a faxed
IRB approval letter. If you submit your studies online using the Clinical
Trials Patient Recruitment Service New
Trial
Submission Form, all wording submitted must have
prior IRB approval. All trial listings will be posted within two
business days if the trial is submitted using this form or emailed,
and within five days if the flyer is faxed. Center Watch will notify
you the day your trial is posted.
Newspaper Ads
If you would like
to place a newspaper ad please contact Roxane Poskin at
Roxane.Poskin@uky.edu or 859 257-7856 for rates. We can place an
advertisement in the Lexington Herald Leader, over 54 county newspapers,
11 college newspapers, and health magazines and other independent papers
throughout the state. We research demographics, and look for sale
prices. We can create a mock-up or the ad for you, as well as place the
ad when you are ready.
