Type of Law |
Most places of employment and enclosed areas, with the exception of smoking rooms designated as employee lounges or break rooms in any establishment where smoking would otherwise be prohibited. Smoking is prohibited within 10 feet of the outside entrance to or open windows of any enclosed area and from the air intake of a ventilation system serving an enclosed area. |

Where smoking is not prohibited |
Smoking is permitted in separate smoking rooms designated as employee lounges or break rooms as long as: (a) air from the smoking room is directly exhausted to the outside by an exhaust fan; (b) air from the smoking room is not recirculated to other parts of the building; (c) more air is exhausted from the room than is supplied to it; and (d) nonsmokers do not have to use the smoking room for any purpose. |
