MikeMike Bossick serves as the Manager of the Kentucky Center for Smoke-free Policy and the Radon Awareness Project, representing the Clean Indoor Air Partnership. Bossick coordinates community-based research and policy analysis on secondhand smoke, works directly with community partners to educate policymakers and the public about secondhand smoke and smoke-free policy, and provides evidence based education on the dangers of radon gas exposure.

Bossick received all of his degrees in sociology, including an undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University in 2002, a master’s degree from Georgia Southern University in 2004, and a Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky in 2009.

While finishing graduate school, Bossick worked as a Legislative Analyst for the Health and Welfare Committee of the Legislative Research Commission in Frankfort, Kentucky. In addition to his state government experience, Bossick previously taught sociology as adjunct faculty at Eastern Kentucky University, and currently teaches at the University of Kentucky part-time.
