Kathy Begley is the Data Management Coordinator for the Tobacco Policy Research Program. Begley manages data for various projects including the School Tobacco Policy Study, Workplace Tobacco Policy Study, and the Local Health Department Tobacco Cessation Study. She also manages data for the NHLBI-funded study to test the effects of a community intervention on smoke-free policy outcomes in rural communities (R01 HL086450-01).

Begley received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Kentucky. She has been at the University of Kentucky College of Nursing since 2001

Begley is also the webmaster for the Tobacco Policy Research Program website.
