The Plastic Surgery residency at UK is a fully integrated training modality.

The junior level resident rotations have been selected to provide the necessary General Surgical and subspecialty experience for the future plastic surgeon.  (See Rotations chart below.) These examples include rotations on Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Surgical Oncology and Trauma, as well as a specific rotation on Surgical Endoscopy. There is a rotation with Orthopaedics in the first year and return visits with the Hand Service in following years.  The experience on Cardiothoracic Surgery, Alimentary Tract Surgery and the subspecialties of Urology and Vascular Surgery are also provided.
