The office practice of most
of the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center's clinical
surgeons is located in the 360,000-square-foot Kentucky Clinic.
Its main entrance is on South Limestone Street. Surgical specialties are
available in offices here, as well as outpatient diagnostic and
treatment services such as radiology, laboratory, pharmacy, and physical
therapy. Certain outpatient services may be provided within UK
Hospital, easily reached by a covered skywalk. A 600-car covered
garage is connected to Kentucky Clinic. |

Linda and Jack Gill Building and Center for
Advanced Surgery |
The Center for Advanced Surgery and
Gill Heart Institute are
located in a five-storey building on Rose Street, which is part of
the Chandler Medical Center complex. The Center for Advanced Surgery
provides ambulatory surgery services, outpatient and minimally
invasive surgery, and special diagnostic procedures. The Gill Heart
Institute has outpatient and non-invasive cardiac procedure clinics,
cardiac catheterization suites for inpatient and outpatient
treatment, electrophysiology laboratory, and administrative and
faculty offices. Valet parking is available at the door. |
| Multidisciplinary practices in lung cancer, urologic cancer, and
gastrointestinal oncology use this facility, which is part of the
Markey Cancer Center (Combs Building). It is located on Rose Street
and has parking in a small lot in front of the building. |

Whitney Hendrickson Building |
The
Whitney Hendrickson Building houses the Comprehensive Breast Care Center and is
located next the Markey Cancer Center. Free parking is available to patients with scheduled appointments in
front of the building. |
| Ground has broken on the new $450 million University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Hospital, scheduled to be complete in 2010. Features include private patient rooms that accommodate multiple visitors and provide a sleeping couch for one family member to stay overnight.
