Positions Offered
The University of Kentucky Cardiothoracic Surgery program offers a two-year fellowship
position for individuals who have graduated from approved general surgery residency
programs. We are currently accepting applications for two available CT fellowship politions.
A 24-month training program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education

One resident per year
- Selection made 12 months prior to commencement of residency
Application Requirements
The University of Kentucky Thoracic Surgery Residency Program requires the following
materials:
- Thoracic Surgery Application*
- Personal Statement
- Curriculum Vitae
- Three letters of recommendation (including a letter from the Program Director)
- ABSITE scores
- Wallet sized photo
*All positions are filled through the Thoracic Surgery Matching Program. Applications
for this program are available by calling the National Residency Match Program
at (202) 828-0566.
Applications will not be considered until they are complete.

Interview Dates
Interviews will be offered in March of each year. We must have
your completed application before you are granted an interview
Visiting the UK College of Medicine
On your interview date, you will be given a tour of the University of
