The discussion is not technical and scientific. Rather, the list serves as a source of support and information exchange for stroke survivors and their caregivers..
To subscribe to Stroke-L, send an e-mail message to firstname.lastname@example.org. It is not necessary to have anything in the Subject line of the message. The body of the message should read:
Subscribe Stroke-L [your first name] [your last name]

Archives for Stroke-L provide a searchable database organized by topic in a web interface. Access is limited to subscribers. Each subscriber will be required to establish a password.
You can ask LISTSERV® to mail you basic information. To do so, send e-mail to email@example.com with the following text in the message body:

American Stroke Association. ASA is a division of the American Heart Association that offers a Stroke Family "Warmline" (1-800-553-6321) for referrals to Stroke Support Groups and supports for starting Stroke Support Groups.
