Special Issue BRAIN INJURY LICENSE PLATE

The Spinal Cord & Brain Injury Research Center (SCoBIRC) at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center is partnering with the Brain Injury Association of Kentucky (BIAK) to create and sell a special issue brain injury license plate. This will not only raise awareness about brain injury in the state, but will provide some additional funding. In order to do this, we need to have a commitment for 900 license plates before the state Motor Vehicle Division will consider the request for the special issue plate. If you are interested, you will need to complete an application form and pay the $30 fee. All applications and checks will be held until 900 pre-orders are received. In the unfortunate event that this number is not reached, the applications and fee will be returned.

This is a unique way to support individuals with brain injury and raise awareness in our state. One in five Kentucky families reports they have at least one family member with a brain injury. Help us help all of these families by supporting a special Brain Injury license plate.
