Ramona E. Stone, PhD

As a sociologist with a doctorate in program evaluation and policy analysis, Dr. Stone brings to the Southeast Center a strong background in research methodology, data management, and data analysis, in addition to more than 15 years of experience in evaluation research. Over the past decade, she has been involved in several major state-level program evaluations (e.g., Kentucky Welfare Reform, Community Based Child Abuse Prevention in Kentucky, Kentucky's Public Advocacy's Social Worker Program, and Kentucky Biomedical Research Infrastructure) as well as county-level program evaluations (e.g., Cost of Homelessness and Clarksdale HOPE VI in Jefferson County, and STAR for Families in Nelson County).  Dr. Stone is actively engaged in evaluation activities of the University of Kentucky Center for Clinical and Translational Studies.
