Introduction

In addition to this website, the class of 2010 is now hosting a web blog at http://uksaclinic.blogspot.com Please visit our blog to get the latest news.

As the name suggests, the clinic is entirely student ran. Second-year medical students provide the administrative leadership for the clinic, organizing other student and physician volunteers, ordering medications and supplies, and representing the clinic in our community. Medical students from all four years can volunteer at the clinic regardless of previous experience. We also have physical therapy and PharmD students regularly volunteering at the clinic, with dental students coming in the near future.  Currently, we do not have space for pre-med students. Please read through this website for more information and contact uksaclinic@gmail.com to schedule a visit.

Medical students who have taken the elective course in their first year of school are responsible for the nightly management of the clinic. As floor managers, these students are trained to take care of charting, triaging patients, social service referrals, and other clerical work. Read on for more information about the elective curriculum.
