Microsomal prostaglandin E synthase in Rheumatoid Arthritis
The major goal of this project is to use animal models to determine to role of mPGES-1 in inflammation and immunity.

Scleroderma: Cyclophosphamide or Transplant (SCOT)
The goals of this project are to compare autologous CD34+ stem cell transplantation to monthly IV cyclophosphamide for patients with early diffuse systemic sclerosis with organ involvement.

Rituximab in the Treatment of Refractory Adult and Juvenile Dermatomyositis (DM) and Adult Polymyositis (PM)
The goals of this project are to determine the efficacy of rituximab in treatment of idiopathic inflammatory myopathies.
