The mission of the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center is to help people of the Commonwealth and beyond to gain and retain good health through creative leadership and quality initiatives in education, research, and service. As part of this mission to improve medical care and treatment, UK faculty and staff actively participate in numerous clinical trials for a broad range of diseases and disorders, such as Alzheimer’s disease, asthma, breast cancer, cervical cancer, dentistry, diabetes, heart failure, HIV/AIDS, kidney disease, and surgery.
