Angela Grant

My practicum is at the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department. I'm from Georgia, so I thought it would be a great way to get to know the community as well as gain some practical experience. We are currently working on a Healthy City grant to receive funding from Bloomberg's philanthropy program. I've also had several opportunities: helping with HIV screenings, delivering programs for local schools, and working with tobacco cessation and the Health Equity Department. Kentucky was a great choice for me, and I've had a wonderful experience so far!
