Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Richard A. Crosby is the DDI Endowed Professor and Chair in the Department of Health Behavior. He has received numerous federal grants designated for HIV prevention research. He is also Director of the Rural Cancer Prevention Center (RCPC)  funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Crosby has published well over 200 journal articles and more than 50 chapters in textbooks. He is the author of a textbook entitled Research Methods for Health Promotion and co-editor of several textbooks, including Understanding and Changing Health Behavior: A Theory-Based Multidisciplinary Approach, Emerging Theories in Health Promotion Practice and Research, Adolescent Health: Understanding and Preventing Risk, and Emerging Theories in Health Promotion Practice and Research.
