Dr. Williams joined the UK faculty in 2008 following an extensive career in public health and hospital administration. Dr. Williams serves as a member of the Health Administration Committee of the American Public Health Association. He was inducted into the Delta Omega National Honorary Society in 2008. His scholarly interests focus on workforce development, particularly in the area of rural public health preparedness. Other interests include systems thinking/dynamics, program monitoring and evaluation research, and competency development. Dr. Williams received his MBA from the University of Saint Thomas and his Doctorate from the University of Kentucky, College of Public Health.
