Adam Branscum, Ph.D.

Dr. Branscum received a Bachelors degree in Mathematics in 1999 and Masters degree in Statistics in 2000 from the California State University, East Bay, and a Masters degree in Epidemiology and Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of California at Davis in 2005. He is currently Assistant Professor of Biostatistics, Statistics, and Epidemiology at the University of Kentucky. He also serves as a consulting statistician for the Center for Animal Disease Modeling and Surveillance at UC Davis. His research interests include Bayesian nonparametric and semiparametric modeling and data analysis, epidemiology, survival analysis, longitudinal, spatial, and spatiotemporal modeling, diagnostic test methodology and protocols, and disease prevalence estimation.
