Psychiatry Residency at UK

Psychiatry

RESIDENT SCHEDULE

PGY – I:
Inpatient Psychiatry (6 months)
Primary Care: Pediatrics, Internal Medicine or Family Practice (4 months)
Inpatient Neurology (1 month)
Emergency Psychiatry (1 month)

PGY – II:
Consultation/Liaison Neurology (1 month)
Child Psychiatry (1 month)
Inpatient and Consultation/Liaison/Emergency
Psychiatry mix (10 months)
Outpatient Psychiatry (one half day per week)

PGY – III:
Outpatient Psychiatry with one half day per week in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinics (12 months)

PGY – IV:
Elective time spent in areas of special interest and junior attending rotations at the University Hospital.
