Your Opportunity

Any program will have good inpatient and outpatient office experiences. But if you want more from your training, UK has it all:

CATS - as part of the Center for the Study of Violence Against Children, you'll work with a team dedicated to the assessment and treatment of child victims of neglect, trauma, and abuse.

Dept of Juvenile Justice - multiple facilities, male and female, for adolescent offenders. This is an outstanding rotation with many opportunities.

Forensics - experience how the practice of psychiatry works our legal system.

Developmental Clinic - for those with an interest in Austism Spectrum Disorders.

Telemedicine - we're a national leader in telepsychiatry.

Woodlawn - an opportunity for therapy and medication management at a private, psychiatric residential treatment facility for ages 6-12. This expanding rotation is one of the fellows' favorites.

Infant Psychiatry - a unique, groundbreaking rotation focusing on the earliest years of life.

Of course we offer much, much more including outstanding inpatient and outpatient experiences including clinics that you can customize according to your interests!
