My Personal Interests and Hobbies
I grew up in Lexington, met my husband in Nashville, and returned to my beloved hometown. I enjoy walking/hiking, traveling, going to the movies, and my new favorite hobby, gardening. I also love eating at unique, local restaurants - and I can't resist dessert!

Why I chose the UK Psychiatary Program
My husband and I couples matched, and we needed to find a program that suited both our needs - U.K. fit the bill. We wanted to be close to family but still have a solid training in both our fields. U.K.'s psychiatry program offers abundant exposure to the breadth of psychiatric disorders while providing education from excellent and accessible faculty. When I visited U.K. at my interview, the residents I met were the happiest I met on the interview trail; now as part of the program, I definitely understand why!
