FORENSIC PSYCHIATRY SERVICE RATES

Psychological Evaluation $300 per hour

Travel time $150 per hour
Testimony in court or by deposition $500 per hour, but in half-day increments of $2000

Criminal Cases: criminal competencies; mental status at the time of the offense; death penalty mitigation; battered women self-defense cases; evaluations for disposition at sentencing
Civial Cases: Psychological damages for tort cases
Evaluation consists of clinical interview; collateral interviews; patient specific psychological testing; records review; report preparation; preparation for testimony; consultation

Independent Psychiatric Evaluation $2500

Neuropsychiatric Evaluation with Neuropsychological Testing $3000
This package includes all components of the above exam plus additional cognitive testing as well as review of lab tests and/or imaging. Additional forensic time, including record review, consultation, and preparation for testimony, is billed at the rate of $500 per hour.

Testimony in court or by deposition is billed at the same rate of $500 per hour, but in half-day increments of $2000.

The balance of the bill must be paid prior to release of the report. Should additional evaluation or testimony be required at a later date, those expenses will be handled as the need arises.
