FORENSIC PSYCHIATRY

Forensic Psychiatry is a subspecialty of Psychiatry that encompasses all interaction between Psychiatry and the legal system. In both civil and criminal actions there is often need for psychiatric expertise to help evaluate individuals or assess mental status.

The UK Department of Psychiatry provides a broad range of services to meet the needs of attorneys, employers, insurance companies and courts.

Types of services we provide include:

Independent Medical Examination
Detailed Medical Records Review
Legal Consultation
Expert Witness Testimony
Neuropsychological Testing
Child and Adolescent Forensic Clinic

We have experience and expertise in providing service for a broad range of psychiatric conditions and assessments.
