My Personal Interests and Hobbies
My husband and I both grew up on farms in central Kentucky. We enjoy going back home to visit whenever possible. We love U.K. basketball and football games. At home we enjoy cooking together, watching movies and spending time with our miniature dachshund, Woodrow. When time permits, we love to travel.

Why I chose the UK Psychiatary Program
I did a couple of psychiatry rotations at U.K. during my fourth year of medical school. I was amazed at how happy the residents were on a day to day basis. They truly seemed to enjoy being a psychiatry resident. Everyone was very kind and helpful as well. The attendings were wonderful teachers and their knowledge of psychiatry was exceptional and evident in their patient care. In addition, U.K. has a very strong Child and Adolescent Psychiatry program.
