ABOUT LEXINGTON

Tyanne Dosh

Educational Background
Undergraduate: Albion College, BA
Medical School: Michigan State University, MD

Professional Interests
Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. My research interests to date have consisted of studying substance use in adolescents and young adults.

My Personal Interests and Hobbies
My husband and I are from Michigan where the winters take up most of the year so we enjoyed making good use of the snow skiing and snowboarding. However, volleyball is by far our most beloved sport, and fortunately one we can continue in KY! I have lots of fun cooking and experimenting with new recipes. I also enjoy dance and playing the flute. But mostly I love spending time with my wonderful husband, family and friends doing whatever!

Why I chose the UK Psychiatary Program
The environment at UK truly separates it from many other psychiatry programs. The residents are excited about psychiatry, happy, friendly, and outgoing. The attendings take great interest in teaching residents and are passionate about what they do. The faculty/staff as a whole are an extremely dedicated bunch who are also receptive to resident feedback and strong resident advocates. The training is excellent with an emphasis on teaching and the development of a broad repertoire of skills.
