Jacqueline S. Gibson, MD, FACPDr. Gibson received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Medicine in 1986. She finished her residency training in 1989, also at the University of Kentucky. She has been on faculty for 20 years, but became the Primary Care tract Program Director in July of 2003. In March 2003, she won the prestigious Sarah Bennett Holmes award for her contribution to women in the university community and for her mentoring of women at the university. Deidra Beshear, MDDr. Beshear received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky Medical School in 1999. She completed her medical residency in 2002 at the University of Kentucky. During her residency she matriculated through the Women's Health curriculum and is currently on faculty in the Center for the Advancement of Women's Health.
Jacqueline E. Carey, MDDr. Carey received her undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University and graduated from the University of Kentucky Medical School in 2003. She completed her medical residency in 2006 at the University of Kentucky. During her residency she followed the Women's Health curriculum and at the end of her intern year received a teaching award from the College of Medicine. She is currently on faculty in the Center for the Advancement of Women's Health.
Aletia Farmer, MDAletia graduated from the University of Kentucky Medical School and did her residency at the University of Kentucky. She is working in our Women's Health Clinic.
Andrew Hoellein, MDDr. Hoellein received his undergraduate degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and graduated from MCP-Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA in 1999. He completed his medical residency in 2002 at the University of Kentucky. He did a General Medicine fellowship and has been on faculty since finishing residency in 2002. He is the Clerkship Director of MD835 which is the outpatient Primary Care rotation for third year students.
Katherine (Katie) McKinney, MDKatie graduated from the Medical College of Ohio and did her residency at the University of Kentucky. She is a Clinical Scholar while doing her General Medicine fellowship. She is also, doing clinical work in the Women's Health Clinic.
Charles Sargent, MDDr. Sargent received his undergraduate degree from Transylvania University in Lexington, KY and graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his medical residency in 2004 at the University of Kentucky. He won the Eileen Scherl Ambulatory Medicine award, and in 2006 won a teaching award as voted on by the Internal Medicine residents. He is currently a Hospitalist at the University of Kentucky Hospital.
Angela Webb, MDAngela graduated from the University of Kentucky Medical School and did her residency at the University of Kentucky. She then did a year of chief residency before joining the faculty of the Division of General Internal Medicine. She is a full-time clinician in our Internal Medicine Group Clinic. Community Based Faculty Who Graduated The Primary Care TrackRandy Jones, MDDr. Jones received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and graduated from the University of Kentucky School of Medicine in 2001. He completed his medical residency in 2004 at the University of Kentucky. After spending his first year as a Hospitalist at the Veterans Administration Hospital, he joined a rural-based practice in Mount Sterling, KY in 2005. |
