Training Programs

Our department currently has two NIH funded training programs for Ph.D. students interested in the following research areas.

 

Physiology Internship

  • The Internship provides an opportunity for college graduates to engage in biomedical research for up to one year.
  • Intern will obtain research experience under the mentoring of faculty from the University of Kentucky Department of Physiology.
  • Intern will have the oppportunity to take 1 graduate level course per semester.
  • Candidates from underrepresented groups and persons with disabilities are strongly encouraged to apply
