Graduate ProgramThe Graduate Program of the Department of Physiology is a Ph.D. program. It is designed to educate and train students to be competent research scientists and teachers of physiology. The main program objectives focus on providing students with the capacity to carry out independent research and to be trained in the teaching of physiology. The department is committed to providing each student with an environment that promotes independent development and habits of life long scholarship as well as a broad base of knowledge of the principles of molecular, cellular, and organ-system physiology.
