Interviews

Qualifying

To be considered for admission, applicants must be selected for an interview. Qualification for the interview process includes consideration of GPA and PCAT scores. The GPA is calculated considering all undergraduate coursework taken, weighting the science most heavily. The GPA and PCAT scores are given equal weight in the process. The Committee will choose the most competitive candidates to interview from the GPA & PCAT score rankings. Interviews may be conducted from September through March.

The Interview

The interview assesses the applicant's communication skills, confidence, and maturity, commitment to the field of pharmacy, motivation, character and ability to interact with others.

Students selected for an interview can expect to spend about a half day at the College of Pharmacy. The interview generally includes a two-on-one session with faculty members and a group portion with other PharmD. applicants before a committee of practitioners, faculty members and current students.
