John Armitstead - MS

Mr. Armitstead received his master's degree in hospital and clinical pharmacy from The Ohio State University. He completed a residency in hospital pharmacy at Riverside Methodist Hospitals in Columbus, Ohio.

His responsibilities at the University of Kentucky include the direction and coordination of pharmaceutical care provision consisting of over 120 FTEs of pharmacy staff providing services to patients of University of Kentucky Hospital and its associated clinics. Additional responsibilities include personnel management, strategic planning, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee secretary and support functions, Pharmacy Practice and Science Executive Committee, and serving as director of the UK Hospital pharmacy residency programs.
