Daniel Lewis - Pharm.D.
Dr. Lewis received his bachelor's and Pharm.D. degrees from Duquesne University and followed this by completing a pharmacy practice residency at the University Hospital of Cincinnati. He serves as the pharmacist overseeing the clinical pharmacokinetics service (CPS) at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center. The CPS ensures safe and efficacious dosage regimens through the application of pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic principles and the determination of drug serum concentrations. Other responsibilities include coordinating the adverse drug reaction monitoring as well as precepting both students and residents on the pharmacokinetics and anticoagulation service. In addition, Dr. Lewis serves as a clinical pharmacokinetics lecturer in the third professional year curriculum.
