    The Department of Molecular and Biomedical Pharmacology will host a seminar to be given by Dr. Grace Stutzmann, Assistant Professor, The Chicago Medical School. The seminar is scheduled for Thursday, February 9th, 2012 in room MN-463 UKMC at 3 PM, and is entitled: “Early Synaptic Signaling Deficits and Calcium Dysregulation in Alzheimer's Disease”. Dr. Olivier Thibault is the seminar host.

    On Wednesday, February 1, the Department of Molecular and Biomedical Pharmacology will host a seminar. The seminar is scheduled at 9:30 A.M.in room MN-563. We will have doughnuts! Title of the seminar is “RUNT-related transcriptional factor RUNX1 and RUNX2 in the periovulatory ovary”. The seminar host is Eun-Sil's advisor Dr. Misung Jo.

    On Wednesday, January 25th, the Department of Molecular and Biomedical Pharmacology will host a seminar. Dr. Andrew Morris's MD/ PH.D. student will present his latest research on the "characterization of plasma lysophospholipid elimination in a murine model". The seminar is scheduled from 1-2 PM in room MN-463. Seminar host is Dr. Morris.
  • Dept. Seminar: Dr. Brett Spear

    On Thursday, January 19th, the Department of Molecular and Biomedical Pharmacology will host a seminar on gene expression regulation in cardiovascular and liver disease.Dr. Spear is a Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Molecular Genetics at the University of Kentucky. His talk is entitled: "Zhx2: A novel regulator of gene expression associated with cardiovascular and liver disease". The seminar will be at 3:00 p.m. in room MN-463 UKMC. Dr. Xiuwei Yang is the seminar host.

    On Monday, November 28th Lindsay succesfully defended her dissertation. Her Faculty Advisor is Dr. Ming Gong.
