What is PharmacistCARE?
 

PharmacistCARE consists of a team of clinical pharmacists who are faculty members of the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. These pharmacists are available to set up individual appointments to review your medications and provide recommendations and education about them.

PharmacistCARE has programs for specific conditions, such as diabetes and high blood pressure/high cholesterol.

PharmacistCARE is recognized by the American Diabetes Association (ADA) as an authorized provider of diabetes educational services, allowing the PharmacistCARE program to counsel Medicare patients, receive payment from a variety of insurance carriers, and see patients on a cash-payment basis.

PharmacistCARE is a nationally recognized, award-winning program. Its honors include:

2005 Pinnacle Award, the American Pharmacists Association's highest honor. PharmacistCARE also was recognized in the Congressional Record by Senator Mitch McConnell.

 

Designation as a University of Kentucky Commonwealth Collaborative.
