SPOTLIGHT ON PEDIATRIC RESEARCH

Original scientific research remains vital to the growth of the University of Kentucky as it continues to become one of the nation’s top twenty public universities. Medical research is vital in achievement of this goal with several individuals performing studies concentrating on issues that will benefit and impact the field of pediatrics. It was with this in mind that the first annual Kentucky Children’s Hospital “Spotlight on Pediatric Research” was held on February 28, 2008. The symposium served as a forum for presentation of the research performed by faculty, residents, medical students, and other medical staff at Kentucky Children’s Hospital and gave us all a chance to see and participate in the vast areas of innovation and investigation that surround us on a daily basis. For more information, contact Dr. Curtis Cary by email.
