The Division of Physician Assistant Studies in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual with vision, leadership skills and the ability to work with a diverse faculty and staff to fill a tenure-track program director/faculty position as an Associate/Full Professor.
The Master’s degree program admits 56 students annually into its 29-month curriculum. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direction of the Master’s PA Program on the Lexington campus and the extension campus in Morehead, Kentucky and will work closely with the Director of Graduate Studies in areas of student advising, student recruitment and evaluation of student performance.
The Program Director will be expected to accomplish scholarship activities appropriate to academic faculty rank, which include research, publication, grant activities and/or creative/collaborative projects. The opportunity for clinical practice is available and encouraged. Previous teaching, administrative and clinical experience is preferred.
The successful applicant must be a NCCPA-certified physician assistant and have a doctoral degree in a related field (e.g. Ph.D., Pharm D., D.P.H., M.D., Ed.D.). Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Review of applications will begin July 15th and continue until the position is filled.
