We WILL use CASPA (Centralized Application Service for Physician Assistants) for applications this cycle, and we will have a 3-stage application process, with application to CASPA, to the UK Graduate School, and to the College of Health Sciences. As noted below, the CASPA web portal for application to our program opened on April 17, 2008. Additional details for application procedures are posted below.

When you apply, you will be asked to choose to apply either to the Lexington campus site or the Morehead campus site for our program.

APPLICATION TIMELINE for 2008:

• April 17- CASPA portal open and applications accepted. 
• April 17- College of Health Sciences supplemental application is downloadable from THIS LINK. Please note that the application packet instructions have been revised (4/18/08). You do NOT need to submit GRE scores to CASPA. All other information in the packet is correct.
• The UK Graduate School application is available any time at THIS LINK.
• June 15- Close of applications: ALL MATERIALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY THIS DATE
• August 15- Interviews for best qualified Morehead candidates
• August 16- Interviews for best qualified Lexington candidates
• January- Start of classes for new PA class (first week of January, with Gross Anatomy starting a week before the official University start of classes)

GRE SCORES:

When requesting GRE scores, please indicate the program code for the University of Kentucky (CODE:  R1837).  Scores will automatically be mailed to the correct address.

INTERVIEWS:

Interviews are generally scheduled for mid-August.  If granted an interview, applicants will be notified approximately 2-3 weeks prior to their assigned date.  A new class begins each January.

APPLICATION FEES:

Application fees will apply for CASPA (starging at $160, see the CASPA fee schedule), the Graduate School ($40) and the College of Health Sciences ($60).
