Physician Assistant Studies
The UKPA Program would like to clarify for the 2013-2014 Admissions Cycle (January 2014 Class Start) that is currently open: Applicants may apply this cycle if they have a maximum of 2 outstanding prerequisite at the time of application. The 2 outstanding prerequisite courses must be completed by December 2013. Upon completion of outstanding prerequisites, the updated transcripts must be sent to the program.
For the 2014-2015 Admissions Cycle (January 2015 Class Start), all prerequisite courses must be completed by August 1st 2014.

We currently use CASPA (Centralized Application Service for Physician Assistants) as one of the aspects of the application process. The application processes consist of a 2-step, starting with an application to CASPA, to the UK Graduate School, and to the College of Health Sciences.
When you apply, you will be asked to choose to apply either to the Lexington campus site or the Morehead campus site for our program.
Application Timeline for 2013
When requesting GRE scores, please indicate the program code for the University of Kentucky (CODE: R1837). Scores will automatically be mailed to the correct address.
Interviews will occur the week of August 5-9th, 2013. If granted an interview, applicants will be notified approximately 2-3 weeks prior to their assigned date. A new class begins each January.
Application fees will apply for CASPA (starting at $160, see the CASPA fee schedule), the Graduate School ($65) and the College of Health Sciences ($60).
