Genetic Consultation and Testing
Our clinic offers comprehensive genetic counseling and genetic testing.
We offer prenatal testing and counseling to
discuss the inheritance pattern so that families can make informed
reproductive choices. Once pregnant, our physician genetic
counselor can review your family history, discuss the risks of your baby
being affected by a particular genetic disorder, and discuss the
available testing options. If you choose, the physician genetic
counselor will order the appropriate blood tests or work in conjunction
with your high-risk obstetrician to obtain an
ultrasound,
amniocentesis,
or
chorionic villus sampling.
