Training Grant on Nutrition and Oxidative StressThe Nutrition and Oxidative Stress Training Grant in the Graduate Center for Nutritional Sciences, funded by the National Institutes of Health, seeks to prepare biomedical scientists for academic careers in research focused on nutritionally-relevant problems. The training faculty come from 4 Colleges, 3 Centers, and 11 departments. They have expertise in mechanisms of oxidative stress and nutritional modulation of oxidative stress in cardiovascular disease, cancer, neuroscience/aging, and metabolic disease. Candidates for pre-doctoral positions must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents of the United States.
