Gina Lowry on the
completion of her Ph.D. Her dissertation was titled, “A
Litany of Losses: The Lived Experience of
Hospitalization for Elders with a Cancer Diagnosis.”
Jia-Rong (Angela) Wu, postdoctoral
fellow, was a finalist for the Martha Hill New
Investigator Award at the AHA Scientific Sessions. Her
paper, “Objectively Measured, but Not Self-Reported,
Medication Adherence Independently Predicts Event-Free
Survival in Patients with Heart Failure,” has been
accepted for publication in the Journal of Cardiac
Failure.
