Congratulations to Gia Mudd on the completion of her Ph.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center. Her dissertation research was, “Use of Cognitive Interviewing in the Development of a Spanish-Language Genetic Knowledge Instrument.”

M.K. Rayens, A. Peden, L. Hall

At the Sigma Theta Tau Biennial Convention in November, Mary Kay Rayens, Ann Peden, and Lynne Hall received the Clinical Scholarship Award for their manuscript, “Testing an Intervention to Reduce Negative Thinking, Depressive Symptoms, and Chronic Stressors in Low-Income Single Mothers,” at a ceremony honoring exceptional contributions to the science and profession of nursing.

Staten & friends at APNA

Friends, colleagues, and students of Ruth "Topsy" Staten were present to congratulate her as she received the Kentucky Chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association 2007 Psychiatric Nurse of the Year Award.
