SNRS 2005 Conference Presentations

Symposia

Sharon Barton participated in a symposium in which she presented, “Family Beliefs About Early Infant Feeding in the Rural Southeast United States.”

Ellen Hahn chaired a symposium, “Second-hand Tobacco Smoke: Protecting the Most Vulnerable.” Presenters were:

  • Ellen Hahn, “Innovations in Secondhand Tobacco Smoke Research,” and “Secondhand Smoke Exposure in Restaurant and Bar Workers.”
  • Carol Riker, “Smoke-Free Policy in a Pro-Tobacco Culture.”
  • Ph.D. candidate Zim Okoli, “Exposure to Secondhand Smoke and Nicotine Dependence,” and “Hair Nicotine as a Biomarker for Exposure to Secondhand Smoke.”

Co-authors of the symposium papers were other members of the Tobacco Policy Research Team: Mary Kay Rayens, Lisa Greathouse, Yvette Hurt, Rob Rasnake, and W. Al-Delaimy.
