Scholarship Showcase provides opportunity to share scholarly
work The College’s fourth annual Student Scholarship
Showcase will be held Fri., March 28, 2008. Oral presentations
begin at 8:30 a.m. in 201 College of Nursing Bldg. The morning's
presentations will begin with a keynote address by Marla DeJong,
R.N., Ph.D. (Ph.D., UK 2005), Lt. Col., U.S. Air Force, who will
discuss her experiences serving in Iraq and the development of
her research program.
Each year this popular event presents excellent scholarly projects
completed by students as part of their degree requirements. All
students were invited to submit oral or poster presentations.
Nurses from Chandler Hospital were invited to submit poster
presentations of clinical or scholarly work in progress or
completed at the hospital.
A poster session will be held from 10:45 a.m.
- 12:15 p.m. in the BBSRB atrium, just across the S. Limestone
Bridge from Kentucky Clinic. More oral presentations will be
held from 12:15-2 p.m. with awards immediately following.
