Holiday Celebrations at Delta Psi

Despite a winter storm that cancelled schools and made driving challenging, Delta Psi held its yearly Holiday celebration at Andover Club on December 5th 2003.

While enjoying the musical entertainment provided by the Lafayette String Quartet, members and friends sampled the appetizers and browsed through the many items available at the silent auction.  While some members tried to obtain Christmas gifts by outbidding others, others were engaged in lively conversations. One of the evening highlights was the auction of an antique quilt that was donated by our Chapter secretary, Pam Lawson. Ruth Berry made the final bid and went home with the beautiful quilt. After the auction, members enjoyed a delicious buffet dinner in Andover club’s beautifully decorated salon, which fancied a fireplace, a large Christmas tree, and many potted poinsettias, garlands, and wreaths.  After dessert the fundraising committee members distributed the auction items and some lucky members went home with most of their holiday shopping done!
