Prerequisites and Sample Plan of Study for
R.N.-B.S.N. Program
(subject to change)

 

To be considered for admission to the R.N.-B.S.N. Option and to professional nursing courses, students must complete the following prerequisites and requirements:

  • Minimum cumulative 2.50 GPA on a 4.0 scale for all college work
  • Diploma graduates must successfully complete the ACT-PEP tests
  • Two references from a nursing supervisor or colleague or faculty (form enclosed in this packet)
  • Statement of academic and professional goals
  • R.N. licensure required in state where clinical activities will take place (prior to beginning the second semester)
  • Clinical experience prior to first course
