Advanced Practice Nursing
Please note that effective with fall 2009 semester, the College of
Nursing is moving away from the Master of Science in Nursing degree
program, and will offer a post-Baccalaureate of Science in Nursing
(B.S.N.) entry option to the Doctorate of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.)
program to prepare advanced practices nurses as nurse practitioners,
clinical nurse specialists, public health nurses and nurse managers.
This professional, clinical doctoral program builds on the B.S.N.
degree and the practice experience as a registered nurse (R.N.).
